In Studio with Sonia Romero

Sonia.JPG

Sonia Romero opens her studio for a unique look at her signature paper-cut and printmaking aesthetic which she incorporates into both her fine art and public art commissions. Her work reflects Los Angeles’ cultural diversity and themes relating to the universal connectedness within humanity and its relationship to the environment. Romero’s site-specific decorative fence welcomes guests to Plaza de la Raza in Lincoln Park and she is an instructor at Plaza’s School of Performing & Visual Arts. "In Studio” is an ongoing series which highlights local teaching artists to encourage participation and collection of their work. Enjoy!
