Remembrance & Reflections at the Boathouse Gallery March 11 - April 2, 2022

Plaza de la Raza along with Rise Art Collective present Remembrance & Reflections at the Boathouse Gallery opening March 11 and running through April 2, 2022. The exhibition includes artwork by David Alfaro Siqueiros, Frank Romero, Yreina Cervantes, Jose Antonio Aguirre, J. Michael Walker, Vidal Herrera, Caros Mares and Josua O’Balles. This exhibition is in memory of Ruben Salazar, the city’s leading Latino media voice who was killed in August 1970 and focusing on the history of the struggle and progress of Latino journalism in the USA.

Poets join in: Matt Sedillo, Iris De Anda, David, A. Romero and Briana Muñoz.
