Mexica New Year Celebration and 2nd Annual LA Ofrenda
Join us for LA Ofrenda at Plaza de la Raza celebrating Mexica New Year!
Directed by Jeniffer Sanchez and performed by Danza Divina de Los Angeles, LA Ofrenda converges traditional Aztec dance, light, video, regalia and aesthetics to introduce the Aztec creation story of the 5th Sun.
There will be three performances at Plaza de la Raza’s Margo Albert Theatre, FREE to the public on:

There will be three LA Ofrenda performances on March 8-10, FREE to the public and no tickets are required.
Mexica New Year Celebration 2024 is FREE to the public and will include demonstrations by the Mesoamerican ball team Ixiim Kaak, a collaborative Community Altar by the Indigenous Wellness Collective and local art and food vendors.

Plaza de la Raza is located within Lincoln Park in the historic Lincoln Heights neighborhood of East Los Angeles at 3540 North Mission Road, Los Angeles, CA 90031
Free Event Parking will be available directly across the street from the center at the Lincoln Park DMV. Additional parking is available on Selig Place and surrounding street parking.
