EL VELORIO: Día de los Muertos season begins at Plaza de la Raza with El Velorio: Day of the Dead Music & Arts Festival on Saturday, October 26th! Antonio Pelayo Productions presents live performances from Buyepongo, Poco Pocho, and special guests Corina Bernadette & Leyo. DJ crew La Junta and Mariachi Los Reyes, plus stunning dance showcases by Folklor Pasión Mexicana and Aztec Dance by General Lazaro Arvizu. Explore the annual Day of the Dead-inspired art show at the Boathouse Gallery, with work by over 100 artists curated by Ann Martin and Isaac Pelayo, and catch a special puppet show by the Bob Baker Marionette Theater Company. There will be plenty of food, vendors, and face painting. This is strictly a 21-and-over event.
