Los Lobos 2021 National Heritage Fellows
THE CULTURE OF AMERICA: Filmed earlier this year at Plaza de la Raza, the members of the band Los Lobos take a trip down memory lane and reminisce about their beginnings in East Los Angeles, and the folkloric musical influences that are embedded in their music. These hometown 2021 National Heritage Fellows will be celebrated in the film The Culture of America to debut on November 17 at 5pm PST on arts.gov for a special virtual event presented by the National Endowment for the Arts and hosted by Actor Jimmy Smits.
