In Studio with David Flury
David Flury is a former artist-in-residence and long-time teaching artist at Plaza de la Raza. His work is influenced by his Mayan roots, his upbringing in the City of Los Angeles and earlier generations of LA-based Chicano artists, many of whom he studied under. David opens his studio to give us a glimpse of his most recent projects and what he’s been working on. “In Studio” is an ongoing series of filmed studio visits highlighting local teaching artists to encourage collection of their work.
